well they are now the subject of an in depth BBC investigation and OFFCOM.so what should be their fate?

I think the producer who cleared that recording for broadcast is suffering the brunt of the investigation at the moment. If it was approved, it was a huge lapse of judgement.
It is curious to hear that thousands of people have complained – after hearng about this on the news. Obviously lots of people don’t like Brand and don’t listen to his programme but leapt onto the band wagon of lodging official complaints – this could get to be a bit of a witch hunt.
Mind you, I don’t like him and don’t listen to his programme so his loss from the airwaves would be a gain in my view.

Neither one of them has an ounce of talent, anyway. They should be fined a massive amount, made to do a public apology, and sacked.
Or one of them at the very least.
(Mind you, there is always the possibility that such a negative reaction would cause them to become more popular, I suppose…)

These are the people that get paid out of our licence fees…I’d rather they gave the money away than pay idiots like that.

Well, what they did was at best pathetic and at worst harassment. If they had made some light hearted prank of a call then I would probably just give them a rap on the knuckles and let them get on with it, but this is overstepping the mark of common decency, imho.
