I met an old fisherman on the Finnish Island Alandia. He and two comrades had “found ” a Three bladed propeller they split .Each fisherman took a blade. My fisherman took his blade and placed it in a boatshed where it remained for 30 or 40 years…He thought it was from a ” Junker ” aeroplane which I strongly doubt. It is a Rotol prop blade. N 34020 RA 409311 orange spot o it.
Suggestions ?What motor?What aeroplane??

Yes it can be from a Firefly. The swedish antiaircraft forces had the Firefly as a targettowing aircraft using a private Company ( Svensk Flygtjänst ) in the fifties. They later bought a couple of Gloster Meteors as a successor. The training aera was located 50-60 km from the finnish Island Alandia across the Baltic sea. I shall check if there was a Firefly accident in the area.

Presumably from one of the Swedish TT1s; any records of losses in the area?
