An update on this incident
The pilot of the Sukhoi HA-YAO pleaded guilty at Southend Magistrates Court
to negligently endangering persons and property. He was fined £3,000 and
ordered to pay £588.50 prosecution costs

A year ago, he managed to hit a runway sign on landing at North Weald.
A couple of years previous he set light to his aircraft at Southend’s self
refuelling pumps.

The take off area at Rougham is very wide, I think the question is why was the A/C taking so close to or driffted towards them?????? A few yards further over and he would have been in the crowd!!!
