Routes you would like an airline to start?

Quite simple really – any routes you would like an airline to operate.

easyJet
Gatwick – Tunis/Fuerteventura/Varna/Warsaw/Belgrade

Ryanair
Stansted – Ponta Delgada/Cuidat Real/Mahon/
Luton – Cork

flyBE
Luton – Guernsey/Newquay
Gatwick – Frankfurt/Dusseldorf/Hamburg

Vueling
Barcelona – Stansted/Fuerteventura/Stockholm/Istanbul/Sofia/Bucharest/

If the rumour is true (and it probaly wont be) but if it is, i wouldnt mind seeing Flybe expand LBA as a base (after they buy BD regional).

-Seasonal Flights to Austraia (Salzburg and Innsbruck) aswell as a link to Vienna, An expansion into Sweden, Channel Island’s.

Wouldnt mind also seeing what FR can do without been idiots (our airport get out tatics), Frankfurt Link certainly welcome, Possibly places in Italy where LS dont serve and expansion into Eastern Europe.

I like to see more airlines at MSE and I dont care who they are or were they fly too or from 😀 I also would think flying from Southampton and Portsmouth Harbour to the IOW with S-61N would work brilliant maybe thats one for British International

I would like to see:

MAN-SFO (a lot of traffic heads that way apparently and also, the west coast is one of MAN’s long wanted frontiers

MAN-HGK – we almost had it back before CX withdrew due to bmi

MAN-BKK-SYD – this would connect 2 well used destinations from MAN

Unlikely to happen but I’d like to see British Airways take over the sorry run-down mess that is offered byBMI on the Leeds Bradford to Heathrow Route (nothing too remarkable 5 or 6 flights each way with a 319). Even with the recession, I’m sure that with a reliable timetable and an aircraft accomodating a sensible number of passengers, it would generate enough passengers and yield (business/leisure, both point to point and interlining) to be viable.

Can fly to Newquay with both Jet2 and Air Southwest, and to Plymouth with Air Southwest. 😉

The reason I want FR to open the route is so I can take advantage of their 1p flights! Paul isn’t worth anything more than that 😉

Pointing this out is meaningless without linking us to the actual press releases. 😉

Paul

I was going to post one but after a search I couldn’t find one, maybe it doesn’t exist:confused:

Cheers, Huw:D

I wouldn’t call several EK press releases a “rumour”. 😉

Simple really.. GLA scheduled to anywhere outside the UK…Scotlands main airport being ran into the ground a national disgrace. The only glimmer of good news here is the Emirates going double daily in 2009(if the airport is still open by then!!)

A direct flight from London to Hawaii would be a nice route to see introduced…I have heard there are rumours it might be possible when the 787 eventually comes into service, but at 15-16hrs on one plane I would probably end up going stir-crazy!

How about the following…..

Oxford – Cambridge.

Southampton – Isle of Man.

Isle of Man – Edinburgh.

Isle of Man – Cardiff.

Or has that already been tried?

Regards,

kev35

Loganair already have EDI-IOM covered. Personally I’d like to see a Middle Eastern link and Orlando from EDI, 2 glaring omissions from the current route network IMO.
