Royal Aeronautical Society & Rolls Royce Garden Party – Air Display

Anyone coming to Old Warden on Sunday?

If you are, keep a look out for the Air Cadet stand which will be in one of the hangers, and come and say hello, as my Squadron (Bedford) are representing the corps at the show. (i’ll be the Flt Lt in number 1’s who keeps wandering off to take photographs!)

Flying starts at 4pm, but the event runs from 10am.

P-51 did land.
Spit XIX did not. Spit also displayed in pouring rain, so a bit of a wasted effort from a spectating and photography point of view…..

Just about to put up some pics in a new thread.

Old Warden yes. If you’re going to Waddington on Saturday, best take a brolly!

Doesn’t look good does it. Unfortunately I bought the tickets in advance…. 🙁
