Royal Malaysian Navy MPA requirement-a questions for the board.

The new RMN chief took office just last week -already he outlined the pressing need for an MPA fixed wing sqn.An initial 2-4 a/c will be purchase to further increase RMN capabilities.The questions is -what kind of MPA would be suitable for such roles?The platform should be able to perform medium range autonomous ops with capability to carry ASM/torpedoes.My choice would be the CN235-any other type that could gave a better result?????
