Royal Malaysian Navy Super Lynx Mk 300

RMN is set to receive 6 units of Super Lynx Mk300 by early 2003.The helicopters will be base on the RMN Lekiu class frigate.It will be the most modern shipborne helicopter in the region(Thai Navy uses Seahawk,but w/o weapons and attack avionics).The Super Lynx is to be armed with torpedos and SEA SKUA missiles.US,British and French firms are actively promoting their products for the next order.RMN has requirement for 27 shipborne helicopters,to be base on the NGPV.Land air base for the RMN is due soon and capable of handling helos,light a/c,C130.
