That engine was used in the Westland Whirlwind fighter, which wasn’t particularly successful or attractive

That is definitely one of the Stafford reserve collection engines.

The asset number 78/E/264 suggests a major collection, and going by the ambient lighting/surroundings I would tentatively suggest the RAF Museum store at Stafford.
