I have been wondering for sometime the identity of these rudder pedals.
They look very similar to Folland Gnat and early Hawker Siddeley Harrier rudder pedals, but do appear different. The mounting attachments appears to be different to the Gnat as does the toe grip. Somebody had previously suggested to me that they may be from a P.1127.
Does anyone know if this type of pedal was used on anything else?
Many thanks

Gnat F.1’s are black inside but their pedal is completely different.

I also wondered if the colour of them is a clue as i can not say i have seen a black cockpit of a Gnat. I cant see any numbers on them other than casting numbers. Here is another photo showing one of them from the side.

Not production Harrier, nor Kestrel. They do look Gnat’ish but on a Gnat the vertical cut out on the heel part is opposite (ie: starts at the bottom)
Could be P.1127 which did use Gnat components but perhaps modified to suit ? Any numbers on them ?
