Would it be worth contacting Zodiac Seats UK?
I was about to make the same suggestion.
These old Rumbold products come up on the forum quite often, but there isn’t a catalogue or schedule against which you can check them easily.
I understand from previous threads that the company that is now Zodiac holds drawings for the early Rumbold era stuff. It would be very handy to have a friendly contact there who is willing to delve into the archives every now and again.
p.s. I don’t think the 32 refers to the year of manufacture, it looks like an Inspector’s stamp: L.A.R. 32

Would it be worth contacting Zodiac Seats UK? (formally Rombolds before mergers, buyouts and renamings)

The inspection stamp looks to be 1932. It’s civil. Too early for a Q6, so take your pick of the rest. It’s too narrow for a Gull.

They made seats for Halifax as well.
This one looks like a thirties type passenger seat.

Rumbold made lots of seats. That used in the Canberra was a crude folding seat with a webbing back rest. Most uncomfortable.

I can’t see your image at the moment as im using my phone, but early Canberra B2 and T4 aircraft used a rumbold sest for instruction purposes.
