I never realised the Americans had ever bought any BAe 146s
Aren’t they some of the 23 ex-Mesaba RJ’s that CityJet have just acquired?

Great Pictures there you got any shots from RAF Cranwell and RAF Leeming at all?
James
Thanks guys;
Manston, sorry, none, went around Cranwell, not one single aircraft in sight (bank holiday), at Leeming there was some Hawks doing tandem take-offs,unfortunately the light was poor, hence the shots were mince!

BAe 146 N521XJ
I never realised the Americans had ever bought any BAe 146s, I thought one of the many American manufacturers would have made a similer aircraft over their side of the pond.
Although I guess it shows just how good British Aerospace aircraft are! 😀
Pity the Solway Lightning is looking so unkempt… 🙁

Great shot of the Phantom. The Lightning seems to have seen better days.

I don’t know, I just picked a random aircraft in the thread ;).
I MUCH prefer Airbus A321’s to 757’s personally…. ;).

Terrific selection, love the shots from LBA, particularly that great looking Helicopter and G-LSAC!
How did I know you’d comment on that particular aircraft Tom?!
Very nice shots there. Glad to see you managed to drop in on my humble second home! (LBA).
By the way… LSAC’s looking good! 😀

That lightning looks in a very sorry state.
Tartan.
If you ever find yourself in Norwich again, they have a museum on the back of the Airport. They have a Stunning Lightning there, in Bare Metal finish. And a Vulcan, amongst others. 🙂
