Rupert the Aviator Scarecrow

Local Scarecrow competition this week

Mrs FA wanted to use some of my aircraft scrap (I prefer to call it stock) to prepare an aviation themed Scarecrow.

Not technically correct – but aesthetically sound.

Waiting to see how many accidents on the road now with double takes.

Anyone guess the aircraft parts ?

Jon – thats cheating!

The undercarriage doors have something planned for them – when I get them back.

Only one phantom part. The rest are Sea Vixen, Victor, Ar 68, Tornado, Hastings, Tiger Moth, and the Merlin is from a Halifax ( if I recall).

Last year we had a nautical theme as this is the Titanic Chief Engineers family home

I am forewarned that next year will have to be a tank.

Well there is a set of Meteor main wheel undercarriage doors in there.

Also possibly a few bits of Phantom? 😉

Hang on a moment, do I see a handbag that was once used by A. Earhart? Watch out for Tigger Diggers….

🙂

Very good effort on the scarecrow!!!

Excellent, Brian!

I had to judge the local village scarecrow competition here just a little while ago and I can assure you there was nothing in this league!
