RUR-5A: ASROC was the most common ASW weapon of western navies in the 80s

I was trying to find out the max ranges of RuR-5A matchbox ASROC in the 1980s ? Not the VLS system

In different books I have seen range quoted from 9 km to 18 km , can someone give me an accurate figure
