russian book about test pilots

hello everybody.
there was a russian book in wich the writter (also russian) talks about Mikoyan, the legendary test pilot Alexei Grinchik and the tests of the Mig-9,
it was a wonderful book, (i’ve had it translated to spanish, as “la barrera invisible) the tittle i’ve got no idea what will it be in english…”the invisible barrier”?, it was in the early 80’s that i’ve had it, i gave it to someone and the SOB lost it 😡 😡 😡
have any of you guys read this book? i’m trying to find it again and no luck 🙁 , searched the internet and every major bookstore in montreal…nothing.
i remember reading in AWST or interavia, about mikoyans life and there they mention Grinchik’s comments on the Mig-9…(it’s a fine airplane, but after 1/2 hour flying it your eyeballs will still be shaking for a week) he meant at the previously unknown high speeds.
please dear brothers, does somebody knows about that book? what would be the tittle in english? where to order?
