Russian Military Aviation Communication

Dear all,

My understanding is that most Russian military aviation platforms have the R-862 V/UHF radio. Also that the planes that they export by and large (excluding India) have the R-862 unit.

It looks as if most platforms going back to the late 80s were equipped with and continue to be equipped with the R-862.

Can anyone confirm or deny this information?
