Russian Navy AN-72 Fires on Taiwanese FFV.

Watching the news last night and I saw a russian navy AN-72 firing rockets across the bow of a Taiwanese Fishing Vessel that was well inside Russian Territorial waters and refusing to stop.

A chase lasting 18 hours culminated in the aircraft firing a full salvo across the bows of the vessel and helos sending bording parties aboard to arrest the captain and crew.

On board was approx 200Tons of seafood illegally poached for the growing Taiwanese population. The vessel has been detained and the crew are facing severe penalties under the current government laws regarding poaching of their stocks.
