Anybody know the construction deadline of recently laid down pr.20385 corvette…or if there is a deadline?

Hi gents, I got two questions.
On otherwise precise and updated russian wiki Pr. 20380 page is stated, that Pr. 20381 will have changed propulsion with gas turbines, anybody heard about it?
Also there is stated that Sovershenny built in far east is Pr. 20380, not 20381 what I found rather strange.

I don’t know how good these new Russian warships are.. but they certainly are very beautiful outside and in. In fact I dare say, almost as beautiful as Dutch ships!
… almost 😀

Pretty much all Russian built bridges are modern looking, since they are new.
Soviet made, and you may have a point. 😉

The Mistral talks have been completed, contract to be signed in 15 days. No info on how the problems with SIC-21 and SENIT-9 were solved.

Big photo of 20380.
What a photo – Gorshkov, Soobrazitelny and Boiki all in a line.
Apparently Soobrazitelny is basically completed.

The happy crew- with the menacing bow of the Gorshkov behind it. That thing reminds me of a mini 1144.

so could we expect Ka-52 with advanced sonobuoy, MAD, multisensor, carrying switchblade n torpedo then ? 😮
not for ASW but think Georgia the sequel. Likely potential use is Georgia, Kuril Islands, and Estonia should they dare move a statue in their territory again!

I’m hoping that was supposed to be a joke or something. Try a naval Ka-60
By: niksi - 22nd May 2011 at 00:26
Well, the primary mission of Russian Mistrals shouldn’t be an ASW mission, but these ships should rather be used as supportive tools for naval infantry, thus packing a flight or two of recce and attack helicopters. The Ka-27 can do that job (ASW) just fine till its replacement is gonna be ready.

Hmm. “Russian Helicopters” states they will deliver a new naval helicopter to the VMF, under the 2011-2020 spending program. Delivery of the new ship-based helicopter is expected in 2017-2018. Aside from this, they will complete naval modification of two existing Kamov helicopters : Ka-226 and Ka-52. The naval modifications of these two will serve on new ships, including the Mistral, assuming that piece of floating **** is ever purchased.
