WARNER SPRINGS – Emergency crews were called out to the scene of a plane crash in Warner Springs Monday night. Cal Fire crews responded to the Warner Springs Gliderport just after 5:30 pm.
According to officials, a single engine plane clipped a windsock near the runway while landing and was sent rolling end over end. Two people were aboard the plane and both were injured.
Paramedics transported both patients, two adult males, to local hospitals via Mercy Air Ambulance.
FAA officials are investigating the incident. The plane, which is a Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR, is registered to an address in Fallbrook according to records

Owch. Here’s hoping for a full and speedy recovery for the crew, and hopefully over time for the aircraft too.
