Ryan STM crash

Sad news regarding the gorgeous Ryan STM in Australia.

Fortuantely the pilot survived.

Lets hope that the pilot and the plane will both make a full recovery and get back in the air soon.

The Menasco powered STM is the pre-war aircraft that the PT22 was based on. However, the STM is the jewel. Rare, gorgeous, I want one.

Well, at least the pilot can take comfort in the fact that he got ‘the double’.

According to the very well-balanced, factual news account, he ‘plunged’ AND ‘plummeted’. Proper Job.
