That maybe so, but that still doesn’t excuse it! WAC!!!! :dev2:

Landing in Sweden would be the best way of doing it anyway. You get to have a slightly cheaper beer before heading into Norway!

Ted (AWAC… And I don’t mean a plane with a big dome-thing on the back). :p

The cities of Copenhagen and Malmo are actually very close.

Thats nothing 😎

Ryanair advertised one of their destinations as Copenhagen Denmark, when infact they served a airport called Malmo………… In Sweden

The cities of Copenhagen and Malmo are actually very close. If you get on the train at CPH (there’s a train station under the airport, AMS styleee), basically you just go over a rather large and very impressive bridge and you’re in Malmo. I’ve done the journey both by train and by road (both share the same bridge), and it only takes something like 20 minutes; about the same time as it takes to get from EGCC to Manchester city centre. They’re certainly much closer than the city of Oslo and Oslo Torp!

This is great news for my local! I’m not sure Jet2 will increase capacity because basically I’m pretty sure O’Leary could close Jet2 down within a week if he really wanted to. I’m no real expert, but I imagine LS wouldn’t really want to get too much on the wrong side of an airline the size of and as ruthless as Ryanair. FR are big enough to afford to lose money on routes if it will push other airlines out of the way.

Couldn’t you say the same for ‘Glasgow’ Prestwick.

Not really. Only took me 30 minutes from arriving at PIK till I was in the centre of the city.

I had to smile at the destination ‘Girona Barcelona’. The two cities are over 50 miles apart! 🙂

How long before they rename LBA as ‘Manchester East’……?

Well done to LBA and FR. Now i aint a big fan of FR as you may all know but i think they could possibly out do LS on the LBA-ALC route.

As far as naming the airprt goes why dont they call us Leeds-York Airport or something of that calaber:rolleyes:

It is good to see more FR 738’S in LBA but does anyone think that LS will add more capacity this Winter to out do FR on the LBA-ALC:confused:

Great news for Ryanair and LBA!

Look like there could be some day/weekend trips out of LBA at a reasonable price, other than DUB.
