Or maybe Boeing told them to take a hike?
You reckon its because Boeing said they don’t fit coin mechanisms into toilet doors?
Why doesn’t he talk to the Globespan Admins, sure they would be happy to let him take the aircraft of their hands for a euro or 2 😀

and possibly Airbus as well, given they say they are not in talks with any other manufacturer.
John LEAHY’s time at Airbus is precious ,he would wouldn’t waist it with a blackmailing idiot ..

Isn’t it ironic that Scumbag O’Riley, who has always said his objective was to drive fares lower and lower, is now giving the money he doesn’t invest in fleet to shareholders, rather than use it to reduce fares further?

We’re in agreement twice in one year 😮
I think I need to sit down!;)
I disagree, I think we should stand up! 😀

Maybe someone at Boeing has a long memory. 😎

Well given recent debate about MOL trying to drive a hard bargain with Boeing, I imagine he asked for a B.O.G.O.F deal and was issued with and F-OFF deal instead…;)

I was commenting on Newsforest’s post about what MOL said regarding backing out.
We all know its b*ll*cks. He didn’t get what he wanted so is throwing his toys out of the pram.

MOL telling CNN at this moment that prices and deliveries had been agreed with Boeing and now Boeing are diddling about the delivery dates, so MOL cancels the deal! That’s his spin anyway!

Why is it all about ryanair been seen as “good”. The fact of the matter is Boeing and Airbus A320 family and 737 family lines are full enough at the moment, turning over good profits and have alot on the books. MOL wont get them at the prices he got them post 9/11. He dosnt like that and has tried and tried. Airbus showed him the middle finger :diablo: and Boeing have now showed him the exit and the door 😀
Think its time MOL re-thought how they treated the people who let him keep his costs down and maybe in 2010 going in with a better attitude 😀 ….. or maybe not :dev2:

In other words: Things are not as rosey at FR as they would have us believe.
Or maybe Boeing told them to take a hike?
I think you’re on the right lines here. Boeing probably wouldn’t supply a -800 for a Euro a pop.

and possibly Airbus as well, given they say they are not in talks with any other manufacturer.
Well that’s because Airbus wouldn’t bow to the terms demanded and gave Scumbag O’Riley the finger! 😀
The question now is – were Ryanair making totally unreasonable demands, and were they making those demands because they don’t really need the aeroplanes anymore and are trying to save face?
