Anyone have any Idea’s why Ryanair’s EI-DAX Has been stored in Prestwick since October? Think she was delivered in 2004! but I know EI-DAC is alot older then her. And is still flying strong.
Thanks

Maybe hence the callsign. RYR01P = RYR-R.I.P??

I have been told that all of the Ryanair B738s planned for retirement have new operators lined up, so it must be just a timing issue where EI-DAX is concerned.

This is quite normal
I’ve never known any fleet get sold/retired in order.
There are many factors involved

Obviously not found a buyer yet. DAC may have less hours/cycles, and so is still flying.
I note, however, that DAX flew RYR01P yesterday, not sure where to though.

Was DAX the one that when agricultural in 2010? (slid off the taxiway onto the grass)
