S.A.R.A.H Radio

Hi All,

I’m trying to find details of the Type 8971 S.A.R.A.H Radio as fitted to the Sycamore HR.14 (no doubt others as well). Has anyone got any info/photos of this unit etc.

It sounds like the same installation that used to be on the Shackleton, that was deleted in the mid sixties as a part of the phase 3 update.

Hi All,

Can’t even give you the correct details,Oops. It should be Type TR.8088 Transmitter/Receiver with a 8094 power unit making up the SARAH radio.
