HA-TAD has been based at EMA off and on for some time now – it operates for Air Charter on ad-hoc freight flights (much like the RAF Avia and BPS AN-26s) – its probably temporarily working a Royal Mail operation, or something like that.

Saab SF 340 at Bournemouth

Thanks for the picture, that is the one, I was there again today dropping passengers off in my taxi and HA-TAD was parked a tad closer this time(near the main road!)

HA-YAD is a Yak18 and HA-LAD is a Let410 so it’s neither of them.

There is a Saab 340 registered HA-TAD which is pictured here http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1313296&size=L

Could that be it?

Saab SF 340 at Bournemouth

I was there again today and the same aircraft was still there
The Hungarian flag was to the left of the reg which made it look longer
My bins are 8×30 but it looked like HA-YAD or LAD
Any help gladly received

I think Loganair have recently purchased a couple of Saab 340’s, quite possibly something to do with that…?

Yes, Loganair have acquired two more Saab 340s, both have been in storage having previously operated for Aerolitoral. Saying this though, it isn’t for expansion its more for replaced as 2 of their current Saabs are due for disposal.
