There was a book out in 1994:

“Les Derniers Jours de Saint-Exupéry”

with photos by Life phothographer John Phillips.

The amazing thing about those b&w illustrations is the incredible detail those old large format negatives give us (sorely missed!)

Best regards

Going to a French School, he was one of the first ( and my favourite ) French 20th century writers I was taught to read…

Its good we finally found out what hapenned to him, and the ‘mystique’ will not fade away…

“Le petit prince” is probably the only piece of French literature i’ve read in French. It’s a good (and easy!) read, and the illustrations (by the author) really complete the book.

Here is the bloke.
