Just a quick request…
Does anyone have good photos or copies of the Sally B and Ginger Rogers artwork carried by Sally B in the early 80’s? I notice that the Sally B artwork is different now to the design painted back then. I know there are a lot of photos available from various sources, but I haven’t found much yet that is clear enough or detailed enough.
Any help gratefully received.

Indeed Tony! Real men do await the HK Lancaster, as do I! I thought I might amuse myself with their B-17 as a minor project while I wait for their Lanc :highly_amused:
By the way, if you haven’t already, check out the Large Scale Planes website for all the up to date news on the HK Lanc. There is also a thread about their forthcoming Mosquito B IV…which is gorgeous!!

That’s just perfect! Many thanks for posting the picture! I’m surprised you found my post…it was ages ago, but I’m glad you did!
I’m building the massive HK 1/32 B-17G, and wanted to build Sally B as she was back then. I can use this image as a basis for artwork to make my own decals (private use only of course!)
I did try emailing the Sally B crowd, but I got completely ignored! LWT were very helpful, but had nothing in their archives, so you’ve come up trumps for me here…thanks! :applause:

May I suggest the Sally B fan club or the owners of Sally B as they I am sure would have plenty of what you require even for a nominal fee to help her upkeep which I am sure you wouldn’t begrudge. :eagerness:
