Saw a programme in the small hours of this morning whilst having a break -Salvage Squad where it looked like the way it was filmed 4 or 5 intrepid people decided to restore a very battered Gypsy Moth.
I daresay there was alot more people and help behind the scenes ,i thought i would google it .

Gipsy Moth Biplane: A rare 1930s Gipsy Moth biplane is found in pieces after a crash 30 years ago. This week the squad and its owner hope to rebuild her.

Ah yes, Salvage Squad! It was very obvious that there was far more going on than the team could ever manage, which I thought was rather unfair on the people in the background, but as far as I am aware most of them were real engineers, they got their hands on some really interesting machinery (Biber midget submarine, anyone?), and that Philippa could get a spanner out and tighten my nuts any time she wanted… Raised my steam pressure on a regular basis.
Enjoyable TV, don’t take it too seriously.
