Continuing with more from Salzburg on a dull Saturday 12th January.
Tu154M of Russia State Transport wearing Pulkovo colours.
… and the same one lined up with Salzburg Castle in the background.
Another shot with the castle, and Austrian fokker’s big bright light.
The Atlant-Soyuz landing…
… and departing, showing the cyrillic titles on the port side.
S7 Siberian makes an appearance
The crew seem to be hard at work stoking the boilers of this Transaero 767 as she taxis out.
Panorama of the ramp
And a couple of night 154s to finish off a now WET Saturday.

Sunday started off VERY foggy. Here’s what it looked like as the Saratov Yak 42 landed at just before 10.

We had to head back to Munich then for the flight home but the fog was burning off and would have cleared to blue about 10 or 15 after we left.

Excellent shots on both threads. Seems like a good place for photography.
Cheers Tom. There are numerous possibilities for photography all around the airport, and the vantage points can be easily reached without a car. And of course, a nice background. Sunshine would have been good.
