Samer airfield in 1940 (a.k.a Wierre-au-Bois)

Could anyone let me know the layout and facilities of Wierre-au-Bois airfield when it was used by II/JG3 in 1940.

… I doubt that a farmhouse-even a very large one- could have provided accomodation for upwards of 500 airmen!

Almost certainly tents then.

There is even less here under Samer (page 344) – and no mention of the unit you referred to.

This “airfield” (feldflugplatz) had no fixed buildings,aircraft were parked under trees on the edge around the field,
a large farm nearby provided accommodation,I presume.
