proper posts? i’ve been gone for a week so what did i miss? About the pics i am glad people like them, i’ve just started aviation photography so still pretty new at it.

About SAN, the airport is pretty busy and specially over the weekends… you have to remember that SD is a beach town and has fabulous weather, great beaches, good night life and some very very beautiful ladies 😀 . Also there are three major universities located within 15 miles of the campus UCSD(go tritons), USD and SDSU are located close by and all are populor schools, and also SD is a major military town with atleast 4 major bases located in San Diego, so lot of students and military traffic as well. I cant quote exact #’s but SD is definately a busy airport, not as busy as LAX or SFO but definately quite a popular destination.

thanks, yeah the delta 757 was my favourite too, had a really good picture of it landing but somehow the picture did not turn up right so that kind of sucked.
as for International traffic well only Mexico if you consider that international from SD. and i think BA is again planning to start service to SD but not sure yet…

Also if you are flying into SD make sure you take a seat by the window cause coming in you can see the entire naval base and tons of naval ships and carriers and the F-18s based over there.

Aeromexico and Alaska both fly to Mexico from SAN, and that’s about it. Apparantly, BA pulled out of there recently. They had been flying there for a while.

Nice shots Ichi! Nice to see a few pics of an MD-80, dont see many of them here in the UK now. Also nice rear shot of the legacy, a great looking biz-jet. 🙂

Ichi, you’re going to have to give me directions on where to go for pics/spotting at SAN. I’ve been meaning to get down there and have a look. I’ve lived in SoCal all my live but I’ve not spent too much time in the San Diego area.

LGB isn’t much for spotting, Steve. Not too many airliner movements out of there, even though with the recent Jetblue phenomena, those have dramatically increased as of late.

Very nice shots, we don’t often get shots from that part of the world on this forum
Do you ever get up to John Wayne or Long Beach to take some shots
