Sandals

Haven’t owned a pair for years.

Always thought the idea of sandals was to let some cool fresh air around overheated “tootsies”, so why wear socks as well?

Mind you saw one guy the other day looked like a refugee from the days of Empire, shorts just above the knee, socks just below the knee, finished off with sandals and a shirt with tie, possibly an extra from “It Ain’t Half Hot Mum” who having heard about the possible remake of “Dad’s Army” is hoping for another remake.

I wear sandals in the nice weather…lets my feet breathe after all day in sweaty toe tectors ; )

What colour socks do you wear with your sandals – white or beige?

Depends what you call sandals– i own walking sandals which you can walk for miles in do they count or are you talking about jesus creepers.

Wearing socks with sandals ? Outrageous ! Obviously not a gentlemen and member of this club/forum. Should be black-balled, that is, I mean dark coloured balled.

I have more than one pair but would never wear socks with them. And certainly not if “it is the thing to do”!;)

That implies that you already have sandals. I think we should be told. Personally I think sandals are wrong. Just wrong.
