According to my information the last built F-15C are the 9 Saudi Pease Sun VI aircraft. This Block 49/50(?) F-15C (US-No. 90-263 to 90-271 / Saudi-No. 1323 to 1331) were produced on the basis of the F-15E – as the production of the F-15C has already been ended some years ago … I have an picture from the german news magazine “Der Spiegel” from 1991 that shows one of these F-15C in the production halls of McDonnell Douglas … you can clearly see that this aircraft, contrary to he last U.S. F-15C, has antennas in both tailbooms, like the F-15E from these production years.
I’m curious how these aircraft looks in the cockpit or what radar they have. Have these specially built last F-15C, the same cockpit layout as in the front cockpit of the F-15E, and the same APG-70 radar as the last US F-15Cs, since both the cockpit and the APG-63 radar at this time were no longer in production.
Maybe someone here in the forum has informations about this planes or even some related images.
Thanks and Greets
