Saudi KE-3 and RE-3 query

The Saudi KE-3 tankers are usually described as three-point tankers, with Beech HDUs underwing, and a Boeing refuelling boom on the centreline. The three photos I’ve seen all show the aircraft with the boom only, and no underwing pods.

Does anyone have anything to add?

The Saudi RE-3A (1901) is usually described as having been converted from a tanker (1817). Was it ever actually in tanker configuration, or was it converted and redesignated on the production line?

Has anyone got or seen a picture of the aircraft in tanker fit?
