Saro Cloud
A little further information has come to hand. This plane was the last Cloud produced and registered G-ACGO before going on a European sales tour where CSA bought it and registered it as OK-BAK. During the war, it was stored and the wings could not be found afterwards. The hull, less the tail was used as a motor launch called ‘Delfin’ and used on the Ultava until the mid 1960’s. A replacement set of wings were made, but they were too heavy and the plane was returned to store.

In the Museum are deposited fuselage with wings and floats but amfibian it isn´t assemblaged. Wanting engines (Czech Walter Pollux IIR). The Cloud was sold after war to private person, which removed by plane everything unnecessary and from the fuselage he made a houseboat 😡 . In 1975 the fuselage discovered staff of Museum and they buy back. In 1977 go through exacting reconstruction when they rescured something what was stayed in the fuselage. Inside the fuselage is almost empty. They reason about of transport to England but I don´t know anything.

Thanks Evzen! I believe it is the fuselage only, no wing or motors? Do they have any plans for it or would they like to return it to England?!
