Sorry I couldn’t make it. It was a competition between Scampton, and my wife’s chocolate cake she had baked for my birthday. Can you make the next visit avoid October 22nd please?

Nice photos Skyshadow. I have asked on the historic aviation forum for any comments/criticisms from any attendees in order that we can improve on future days. So please feel free if you were one of the of the 180 people who were their on the day.

Cool photo’s, it looks like it was a good day, did the Bucc do a taxi run or just a static run ?

It really looks like the Bucc could be on the airshow circuit in 2006, HHA deserve a massive pat on the back for all the hard work and money that has got the project this far.

Ah, it’s a Sukhoi! Most of these Russian types look the same to me, look fine though. I hope someone gets the chance to photograph either types when they are airworthy, would be really good if they displayed at an airshow.

The Sukhoi is airworthy but presently just under maintenance. It is serviced every 3 – 4 months or so. I think the CAA may have doubts about certification.
The Bucc is airworthy and if all goes well with the CAA my understanding is that it should be in the air in the not too distant future.

Very interesting, especially the MIG. Is that the one supposed to be flying before too long? Will be great to see a Buccaneer fly as well!
