SCAMPTON

The BBC local news this morning have revealed that West Lindey District Council are to purchase the former RAF Scampton quoting Aviation Heritage as part of the set up. Education and and research are just two of the others. A company called Scampton Holdiings will run the site. I did mention some months ago that this would make a good home for the Doncaster Vulcan, is the way now clear ??
