Scanner help needed

OK, not actual photography but very much related.

1. I bought a negative scanner which, according to the ad, had a 126 neg holder. printing error and the company don’t actually make one. Any ideas where I can get one?

2. My computer will no longer recognise my scanner – ‘drive missing’. Can anyone help with a source for a drive for an Artec Ultima 2000?
