Here are my photos of the 10th of november, day began really rainy and cloudy and later on the sun showed up. Runway use was more of a problem today with arrival beginning on the 36C later on 36C and 36R. Then it moved to 36C and 27 and later on 06 and 36R.
1. Lan on finals runway 36C, I like the background.
2. This is what the weather looked like in the morning.
4. Backlight during this time of the day.
5. Alltough it can give some nice effects.
6. AKA landing in pouring rain.
10. Then the arrival runways changed to 06 and 36R so I expected Emirates to land on 36R, I heard it being cleared overhead SPL so that would be a left hand downwind for runway 06.
12. Back-up aircraft arriving for Surinam.
14. Photo of one of the 3 Atlas Air 747’s that came in today. The other 2 are really dark because of the clouds so not worth posting.

Thanks for your comment! The 757 really is a nice aircraft, I also like the 300 series (non US off course) a lot, but you don’t see those a lot here. Shame that the US Airways livery will disappear, it’s always a nice visitor to see. I also enjoyed seeing them in SXM during the summer (photo’s are still a work in progress so stay tuned).

A great set of photos there Maikel, thanks for sharing.
There is a reason why the 757-200(w) is one of my favourite aircraft and photos like the one of the US Airways example shown above really help to prove this…she just looks gorgeous!
Shame that we won’t be seeing it in the US Airways livery for much longer now that the merger with American has finally been agreed between all parties.

Superb set of diverse shots. Love the LAN Cargo and Etihad Cargo 777Fs.
