I was also on one of the flights over schiphol on Saturday April 10th. We took off from Rotterdam and proceeded north up the Dutch coast.
Just north of Hoofddorp we turned into Schiphol, passing over the threshold of 36L, flying over 18/36C and circled around the tower twice.
My plan was not to shoot individual aircraft but I concentrated on taking wider shots of the aprons.
But still you have to take it as it comes, in this case I was seated on the the left side of the plane resulting in the inside of the turn.
Here are some of the results
Our ride being readied on Rotterdam
Taking off underneath us on 36L
Waiting for take-off
Taxiing out
Turning toward Schiphol Center
remote parkings
The silver building in the bottom of the picture is the low cost terminal, all easyjet, FlyBe etc had already left again by 11.30
Alternative view of the tower

Surinam parking at the gate
Gathering of heavies

I hope you liked the mix. I am planning to do a seperate topic on the various scenery we overflew along the way
Kind regards
EC

Out of interest, how much do you think Kammair would charge for that?
It’s all on their site, but Dutch language only. The rate per person is 30min for 54eur, 45min for 81eur, 60 min for 105 euro. These rates do assume a full load of six passengers! If the flight is not full, you pay more! I don’t know if there are additional charges for any special permits. Due to the flighttime you would need at least 45 minutes.

Weather permitting they are held once a year during the Dutch Spotters Convention. During the convention I think normally they do five flights seating 4 passengers per run. A flight only costs 85 euro, so as you can imagine they sell out fast!
So if you want to do this, you’ll have to wait for next year. Another option would be to charter a flight with Kammair directly and hope they are able to arrange the necessary permits to overfly Schiphol center.

I agree with the above post 😀
That Surinam shot is great. Shame they got rid of their 743 though!

Civilspotter – what absolutely magnificent shots. Truly some of the best I have seen for a long while. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to share them with us.
Best Regards
