Some nice shots there. I like the smoking Travel City and the EZY going out with nice squashed in busy background. And of course the Iceair. Love these 757s with winglets on the approach. They look like tightrope walkers.
Great light on it too.

Sorry for posting again but got information from kevinwm about parking, it was ok to park at st andrews cresent next to the nursery but due to recent events the cresent is no longer to be used for parking, there is going to be signs put up stating this and if your car is parked there once the signs go up it will be towed away, also that area is to be made a pick/drop off only and all cars are going to be searched before entering anywhere near the building.
RAB..

Think it’s time to get my bike out of the garden shed then…:D

ren frew there is double yellow’s there but the police dont bother as there are no signs telling you that you cannot park i was told that from two airport cops, if i am correct in thinking the hire car place that is there parks their cars there all the time, when the football is on at the grass pitch’s the people park there too i dont think they bother because it is basically out of the way and isnt obstructing anything .

thanks for the comments guys much appreciated, Kenny i parked up at the nursery but i first went into the airport police station and told them that i was going to the mound and that i was going to park my car there at the nursery gave them the reg , makeof car ,colour, mobile number name and my id they were happy to write it down. I was told by airport cops to do this in light of the recent events that way the airport security and more important ordinary cops know that we are up at the mound and dont get the car lifted, it is advisable to take 5 mins and go and let them know you are there and give them your details Kenny
Hope this helps you
RAB..

Good advice, but isn’t it all double yellow lines there now ???

Excellent stuff! You can’t beat a 757 or an EK T7 on day like that! 🙂

Rab,

Great shots. My personal favourites are Easyjet & Zoom takeoff, XL.com touchdown and 777.

Is it still ok to park at St Andrews Crescent or where did you park?

Top selection there, great to see the jumbos in abundance at GLA. Reminding me of twenty odd years ago when Iberia would send a 742 in once a week in summer.
