Its like having your dad turn up at your teenage cider party. (Ians wife loves it in cider, but he’s a Jerseyman).

Sounds good to me Steve , as you are already qualified on whisky , type rating comes free.

Sorry Alastair, sounds like I’m currently an OAP with no taste buds then – Glenmorangie does it for me, although when the next East Fortune gathering takes place I’ll try to get type rated on whatever non-Glen whiskey you put in front of me. 😀

I’m impressed so far , some goodies there , Balvenie , Talisker , Dalwhinnie would be on my list along with Laphroaig , anything which starts with a Glen is for OAP’s with no taste buds or Tourists.

I’m with Jonesy on this one. Glenfarclas is also very smooth.
As for all the girlies who adulterate their whisky with water-try adding more whisky instead.

Dalwhinie does it for me.
I must admit that I like Jack as well.

15 year old Glenmorangie – smoother than silk and burns like napalm on the way down. Nectar of the gods…and I dont hate my child – she’s the only source of cheap labour available to me.:)

Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and I used to be very good friends and I still enjoy the odd drop of bourbon, no comparison to a good malt though!

Anyway, I’d go for Talisker.

Howabout Jack Daniels? The stuff I drank in my younger days when I could polish off half a bottle in an evening.

Im curious how important aging is to you connasours. Johnny Walker for example is 12 years old isnt it?

I may be on the large side of a Japanese Racing Snake physic but I am certainly not comparable to Christopher Flippin Biggins, I don’t wear glasses, and I am not a poof, My wife George will vouch for that.

“You can’t beat Polish Vodka neat, not only puts hair on your chest, but on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. “

I suggest that they distill something to put hair on our heads, as I look like a billiard ball, and EN830 is like Christopher Biggins.
