I’ve joined the Melv club. Sometime between midnight and 2am on friday morning someone walked into our house and nicked my missus’ handbag and my car keys.

The cheeky basts even answered the mobile that they’d pinched, claiming that they’d just bought it.

So no sleep that night and a very quiet new years eve.

Luckily I should have access to an aeroplane this year so if I can find ’em I reckon a short trip and a long drop will be in order.

Grumpy, and trying to change the locks on the car – if anyone has any ideas how to do this on a Mk V Escort when one has no keys. I’ve got into the car and changed the door locks and I think I can do the boot – just the ignition and fuel cap to suss out. Hairy A*se.
