Maybe they plan to use Finnair MD11s to supplement/bale out the DC10 in much the same way as they’ve used Finnair 757s this summer to support the A300s?

AIR SCANDIC “start twice weekly charter services to Cape town/Durban and Islamabad using either DC10s or MD11S (Unconfirmed)”

Well, in Flightcheck it actually says a DC-10 OR a MD11, so it isn’t totally confirmed yet.
