I’ve a life long interest in aviation and am currently researching for a book project.
With this in mind, I’ve a few questions and I would be very grateful, if someone could possibly give me a few answers.
With regard to the Sea King HC4 in the first Gulf War, where was the RWR display positioned in the cockpit?
I’m assuming a circular display, detailing the threat type, direction and range?
Regarding the early GPS navigation fitted, was it integrated into the cockpit, or bolted on?
Was the GPS unit cap of multiple waypoint navigation, or was it purely used to occasionally update the INS?
Many thanks in advance…
