LAST EDITED ON 02-06-01 AT 03:38 PM (GMT)[p]I live near an AFB with F-16’s, Alpha-jets and Sea Kings (Westland). You get used to hear the helicopters flying above your house all day, but today I saw a formation of 4 Seakings (very unusual here) flying extremely low. You could see the pilots and the diver from the open cargo-door. They were making very sharp turns above my house and as i have to study a bit, i couldn’t get concentrated. Ofcourse I forgot to make pictures, otherwise i would posts them. Damn.
Does anyone knows why Koksijde AFB is so full of activity last months. It used to be a calm AFB only reserved for the Seakings, but now i see F-16’s (are always in Koksijde, although everybody denies it, but I see them every day), C-130’s, Alpha-jets, F4F’s, Tornado’s, Mirage 2000’s and even Dutch Apaches (not flying but near the hangar).
