Sea King Sortie

Did something different yesterday. Had a flight on a Helicopter with a difference. Photos attached of a flight I had in a 22 Squadron ‘B Flight’ Sea King HAR3 from Wattisham as a supernumerary crew (AKA the live dummy for winch man training 😮 ). First Set – The aircraft, Take off and Wattisham from the air. Note the Apache by itself on the pan, There not being much in the way in movements while I was there, a couple of Gazelles and a Hercules where the only thing of note. I’ll post the rest of the photos over the next few days (No remarks about the quality of the shots please, my small digital camera is not the best piece of kit in the world and using it with the helmet visor down and a pair of aircrew gloves on made using the controls on it difficult to put it mildly).
