A greek sea-plane company landed a ‘Twotter’ on the River Thames in London recently, next to the EXCEL Exhibition Centre to co-incide with an event (not sure what it was now, but hey!), and it said that they are looking to organise scheduled services to link cities in the UK.
Just wanted to know what people’s opinion would be of this, besides the thrill of taking-off and landing on water, is there a market for such services bearing mind there are quite a lot of domestic services from LCY already!

That would be very good, but wouldn’t there be a problem with all the bridges going over the Thames.

this could work London to Bristol… however any more distance and it wont be worth it… also which other cites have a large river or a lake in the middle of them??
unless its got dual landing gear and then u need to find an airport in the city..
The only advantage would be it would be close to the office.. for nipping out to meeting etc.. so the market for this is limited..
