Hey does anyone know when SEAFIRE Mk III G-BUAR is going to fly? or is it already flying? I wish the RNHF had one? they only only have swordfishes from ww2?
Is the Seafire going to be operated on the circuit, or hidden away like the rest of the aircraft at flying A?

The next Seafire to fly in the UK will be the Mk XVII SX336/G-BRMG, scheduled for this year.

I’m afraid Graeme it’s a fact of life. This is a private collection for the owners to do with as they wish. Granted the Seafire is a rare aircraft and who knows if you offer the current owners enough money they may sell it to you and then you can do with it as you wish. However it’s only a Spitfire with a coat hanger on the back and the spars cut in 3 with hinges in them. Give me a Mustang any day 😀

it is the only seafire that is going to be flying in Uk at the current moment, its alot rarer than alot of planes, i would prefer to see a Seafire than a TF-51( i do love mustangs tho). I disagree with Flying A, all them planes, no one else can enjoy them in a hanger, more people see a plane in the sky than in a museum or hanger!

I see no reason why this aircraft should be operated any differently than the rest of the collection.
