Seafire

Hi all,

Hoping someone can clear a Seafire query up for me. I’m sure a year or two ago I read on the old forum that there was a Seafire XV coming to the UK from South Africa. Pretty sure there was a photo too, which I vaguely recall made it look pretty like PR503 (Seafire XV based in the US). I can’t find any reference to this anywhere – none that satisfies my certainty anyway – that the above is true. 

Was PR503 perhaps used as a ‘stock’ photo and caused me confusion? I’m pretty sure captions, articles etc said ‘This particular airframe’.

Apologies if I’ve missed something somewhere, just hoping someone can clarify the situation
