Todays newspaper in flight photos show the amphibian with its wheels extended prior to landing.
It was not a good weekend for G.A. in Germany as a Cessna hit a Robinson R.44 at an air show in Ellwangen yesterday killing all four in the helicopter.:(

Thats sad news, thoughts go out to families of those passed.
hopefully it won’t affect peoples confidence in seaplane tourist trips, i was tempted whilst in Hamburg last summer.
Confidence could be affected as the previous aircraft, a Beaver also crashed.

Hamburg is a busy harbour can anybody tell me how the landing area is cleared of other craft for take offs and landings?
